Northumberland
- England’s Border country

I MISS THIS PLACE!!!!!!

enchantedengland:

The market town of Hexham, Northumberland. Northumberland lies east of Cumbria and is the northernmost ceremonial county in England, as well as its most sparsely populated. The wild landscape and high moorland, along with the Dickensian streets of rural villages, has reeled in tourists and drawn in landscape artists alike. And if you are interested in castles (if you are not, well, you should be) Northumberland has more castles than any other county in England, including Alnwick, Bamburgh, Dunstanburgh, Newcastle, and Warkworth.
This is for imperialistdreams who is rightfully proud of Northumberland and its flag. I especially admire the coat-of-arms, which is positively Gryffindorly.
